01 / THE RIGHT FIT
Four briefs.
Four different scopes.
A focused service website, an online store and a site your team updates every week involve different work. These example briefs show where our one-page starting price fits—and when a different scope makes more sense.
Illustrative project briefs, not client projects or fixed quotes.
- 01
ONE CLEAR INTRODUCTION
“Show our services and help people get in touch.”
A concise service overview, approved photographs, business details and an ordinary contact form, all on one page.
One-page website · from $495A fit when the content works on one page and a self-service editor is not needed.
- 02
MORE TO EXPLAIN
“Our services each need their own page.”
Detailed services, project stories, a larger gallery or useful existing pages that should stay.
Multi-page website · individual quoteWe agree the page list, content and existing URLs before building.
- 03
KEEP THE EXISTING SETUP
“We like our platform. The design needs work.”
A redesign that stays inside WordPress, Wix or another existing website system.
Platform-specific work · individual quoteWe review the editor, access and connected tools before confirming the implementation.
- 04
FIX ONE PROBLEM
“Our site works, but the contact form does not.”
A useful website with a specific problem: a broken form, link or mobile layout.
Focused repair · individual quoteA repair may be enough. Replacing the entire website can be unnecessary.
See a real multi-page project: the Tiny Riders website case study shows how separate service pages, coverage information and a simple inquiry path fit together. It is individually scoped work, not an example of the $495 one-page package.
A smaller package should fit your business. It should not quietly remove useful pages or features just to meet a starting price.
02 / THE ONE-PAGE PACKAGE
What the starting price includes
A complete, focused page for one business, built around your existing brand and supplied content. The exact deliverables, total price and timing are agreed in writing before building.
- Desktop and mobile layout
- Your supplied text and authorized images
- Clickable contact details and one ordinary inquiry form
- Basic search metadata
- One consolidated revision round within the agreed direction
- Launch and agreed files, repository or account handover
We check the complete inquiry path. Before launch, we test the agreed form, its confirmation and actual email delivery.
This starting package does not include a self-service editor or an automatic replacement inside your existing website platform. Read the complete package details.
03 / WHAT CHANGES THE WORK
What changes the quote?
- More content or more pages
- Separate services, locations, substantial galleries and long-form content need their own structure and review. Copywriting, new branding and content migration are separately scoped.
- Editing and existing platforms
- A custom page and a page built inside an existing website editor are different implementations. If you want to update content yourself, we choose and price that workflow before work begins.
- Bookings, payments and connected tools
- A link to an existing service, an embedded tool and a custom integration are different jobs. Booking embeds, ecommerce, memberships, logins and integrations require review and an individual quote.
- Keeping an existing site working
- Useful URLs, content, forms and integrations need to be recorded before a redesign. Migration and redirect work are agreed explicitly. Our redesign checklist helps you record what should stay.
You do not need to identify the technology yourself. Share your website and explain what customers should be able to do. We investigate the setup and confirm the options.
04 / AFTER THE BUILD
Plan for the whole cost
The build price is one part of the cost of owning a website. These items should be clear before you accept a project.
| Cost | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Website design and build | A written scope and total price before work starts. |
| Domain, hosting and platform bills | Separate costs disclosed before you accept. Any new purchase needs your approval. |
| Paid tools or licenses | Identified in the proposal where required. |
| Optional ongoing support | Quoted around the help you need. No subscription starts automatically. |
| Additional work | A written change quote before extra work begins. |
You retain your supplied content, domain and existing accounts. The agreed new build files or platform handover transfer after payment. Source files alone do not provide a visual editor.
For ongoing help, the proposal states the included checks and edits, response targets, billing and cancellation terms. Explore optional website support.
05 / APPROVAL & PAYMENT
When do you pay?
For the one-page package, you see the finished working site before the build fee becomes due.
Agree the work
Confirm the scope, full price, content and schedule. No deposit.
Review the private site
Check the complete agreed page on desktop and mobile, then send the included consolidated revision round.
Approve. Pay. Launch.
Explicitly approve the finished preview in writing. Payment follows approval, before launch and handover.
If you decline before approving the finished one-page preview, no build fee is due. Approving an initial concept or scope does not approve the finished website. Silence does not trigger approval or payment. An unpaid preview stays private and is not transferred for reuse.
Larger projects, repairs and support have their own written payment and cancellation terms. Read the full service terms.
06 / BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Compare the scope,
not just the headline price
Use these questions to compare proposals with different prices. A clear answer is more useful than a low starting price without a defined project.
- Which pages and customer actions are included?
- Who supplies the text and images?
- What can you edit after launch?
- Which current pages and connected tools will remain?
- How many revision rounds are included?
- What will be tested before launch?
- Which ongoing bills are separate?
- What files or account access will you receive?
YOUR NEXT STEP
Start with a design direction
Share your website and what you want to improve. We can prepare a free small private homepage concept or two key sections, with no obligation to continue. Review it by email, phone or an optional Google Meet.
The initial concept shows a direction; it is not the finished website. If you want to continue, we confirm the full scope and price before building.
